(NOT the hen with the long back in the front left by the feeder...she is in there for warmth in the winter and not mine..she belongs to my best friend..she won them in a serama raffle)
Here is a quick shot of some of my birds. They are mostly B's with a small A class or two and maybe a few C's also. We are at a friends house camping out because we still have no electricity here in KY. I have been running home to feed the zoo every day and took a few shots of the group. I try to breed for serama type, personality, and size. The tame ones are the BEST!! Very sweet with personality. I breed for that! I really try not to breed the birds with long backs and I try to get the birds with the most hard feathered upright tails. Some of mine have the softer curving tails, which is pretty, but Im trying to get that one sickle feather to be straight up in the air. I think my birds' wings are a little too long or their legs are too short because they could stand to be a little more verticle in the wing when they are not posed, but they are pretty nice birds from what Ive seen at the shows. If anyone has any comments, Id love to have some input! Thanks and I love the pics on here!! Keep posting!

Ooop messed that up. Kelly's hen is named "Ticket" and she is the one that is in the front left of the picture at the bottom by the feeder. The other birds are mine....
Thanks!!

Chickenzoo, they are really nice, I have some hatching now can you tell as soon as they are born if they will be silkied?

Thank you! We are thrilled to have them, they are very sweet and calm, confident birds. Tappy told off my 80 pound dog right at the get go- but is sweet with my toddler and preschooler - I we love them!
The silkie seramas are very neat looking birds ( I do not have an eye for chicken judging- but I can tell you a purdy bird when I see one:D)

WOW those silkies are gorgeous. I thought a few of mine were gonna be sort of silkied but after seeing those pics and the pic of the silkied chick im thinking otherwise.
