Serious question

Hi everybody ( I'm Swiss, sorry about any mistake in English),
I want to explain, can I keep some domestic pigeons with my chickens without problems, I heared that this may cause diseases, is that right, please help, any help will be appreciated ,, thanx

I'm not sure if pigeons and chickens can be kept together.
How old are pigeons and chickens? Do the pigeons fly?

We used to have a couple of large dovecots on the walls of our rarebreed poultry farm back in UK. We had no noticeable problem. I expect pigeons could, possibly, bring in diseases from elsewhere but, as I said we didn't have any problem.

No problems. Make sure the chickens can not reach the nesting site of your pigeons.

I kept Chickens and pigeons together when I was younger. There was no big problems and they got along fine. The only thing I noticed was the pigeons pooped all over the chickens. They tended to always have poop all over them...
