I would usually drink apple cider vinegar in apple juice, but being that you have a UTI or maybe a yeast infection stay right away from the apple juice. Yeast and bacteria feed on the sugar. So you'll have to down with water, which is yucky. But if it helps -- why not? I also found a website that had natural remedies for things -- wish I could remember the name, darn it. Anyways google natural cures for UTIs and it should pop up. Seems like it was something like earthclinic or something like that.

I had a lot of UTIs and the only thing that helped was the sulfur drugs. The dr. would put me on antibiotics, they never worked so I had to ask for the sulfur drugs. I would have 3 in a row then nothing for two years or so, then back on the merry go round. Now that I'm older it has slowed to one every 3 years. But my girls get them and we still use the old fashion sulfur, the dr was amazed.

I've never heard of sulfur for a treatment either, does it have a specific name I should ask the dr for?

Thanks for the link, ChikeeMomma, I'll go check it out.

Be careful though, a lot of people are allergic to sulpha drugs, myself and daughter for two. My daughter broke out in a horrible rash from it, she had hives from her scalp to her toes!!!

If you have taken so many rounds of antibiotics I am almost 100% certain you have candida. Candida is a pain and it's not limited to your colon or vagina. Even babies get candida in their mouth (thrush) and the candida gets stronger with every round of antibiotics. It literally gets everywhere..
Symptoms of candida are..
Drowsiness
Foggy Head
Eczema (dermatitis) or Rash
Constipation
Diaharrea
Yeast infections
UTIs
Mood swings
And the list goes on...

An easy way to find out if you have candida is to take a clean glass, fill it up with water, then spit in it. Do this right after you get up in the morning, don't drink anything, brush your teeth, nothing. If you see any "strings" or your spit starts to sink in a white mass it's almost certain you have candida.

One of the famous last words of Pasteur, you know the germ theory guy, were "Look to the host."
Once you have a nice acid environment for bacteria, yeast and parasites to flourish..Boy, infections start coming out of the woodwork. Like another person said, antibiotics tear down the immune system. I would recommend staying away from any more drugs. It's obvious that your body Ph is off and you've got a nice environment for bacteria..

A lot of women have said probiotics are good, which they are when your colon needs to replenish the friendly bacteria. BUT, if you start reacting negatively to dairy, I would suggest holding off on the probiotics until you get your body back in balance. I've sort of avoided dairy (excluding butter) and I've done very well. I use to eat dairy and my throat would get all sore, my sinuses would drain, my eyes would get gigantic bags and my skin would start oozing.

Uva Ursi is another good herb for UTIs, but you shouldn't take it if you're pregnant or nursing.
Food grade Hydrogen Peroxide will knock it right out, but you have to be careful with this too..Very careful, it can burn a hole through your skin. You start with one drop in your water, or three drops in a warm enema. A friend of mine did the enema and he sh!t his brains out..He even pooped out a tapeworm..(gross!!) FOOD grade hydrogen peroxide is definitely good if you want more immediate results, because it creates a lot of oxygen (hence the hole burning power.) Parasites, fungus (including candida), bacteria, and virus' just can't live in an oxygen rich environment. Same goes for Chlorophyll, it helps increase the oxygen in your blood and balance your blood Ph.

My utmost important advice is BE DILIGENT. Your body didn't get this way overnight and you wont get better over night. There is no magical pill that will cure all your problems. Most drugs will only mask the symptoms without addressing the cause. I've suffered with chronic yeast infestation and other health issues a good portion of my life. It takes a lot of work, time and patience to get healthy. Especially after taking so many pharmaceuticals that do not work.. Just know that you're not alone and there is always good advice out there. I'll be around if you need any more guidance.
