Seriously Roopecca!?!?

I brought it indoors and placed it in a deep bowl of water. It tipped up a bit (1 or 2 o clock angle) but stayed on the bottom.
Did you open it up?

That means we missed it every single time we scooped out his poops since moving in. That means it is now about 10 weeks old. So strange since it was just laying right on top of the pine shavings as seen in the picture.
I'd guess it was buried and then got unburied.
Bet you'll be cleaning 'deeper' now...looking for another :D

It's definitely something he would do, but in this case I don't think so. He found the egg while I was at work and texted me the picture. I asked him to save it for me. When I got home I asked where it was. He had left it in the run on a coop roof because he didn't want to bring it in the house for fear of it smelling bad. He figured it was cool enough outside to prevent it stinking but might start to smell when it warmed. It didn't.
