It’s quite expensive. About $20 for an 8 oz bottle. But it lasts a long time and is good for everything.

Not if you dilute it.
Do you have anyone there who can help you?
If you dilute it by swirling it in a little cup with some warm water it’ll still be sudsy and not hurt. Or if you have a helper they can first wash their hands so they are clean. then puts new soap on their hands and lathers up and let’s the lather drip onto the chickens head.

Just try to avoid the eyes.

In fact, you can put a tiny dab of antibiotic ointment in each eye to protect them if you’d like.
It’s not ideal, but most people don’t have eye ointment at home.

BUT Just in case you do, something like Refresh Pm Dry eye ointment is great in a situation like this.

You can use it several times a day.

How would you feel about a baby aspirin in this case?
Is there any reason why not to give ?

Can you see to it that she gets some hydration tonight?
If you don’t have any electrolyte mix
Gatorade
Plain pedialyte
Or you could improvise by mixing a cup of water with a small spoonful of sugar, 1 shake of salt and a pinch of baking soda in it.
Stir well.
Apply drops to her beak.
Or see if she’ll drink it for you.

Sorry I don’t have an exact recipe at hand but I could look one up for you and I’m confident enough that these amounts would be conservative enough but still beneficial.

And if you have any chewable baby aspirin (BUT NOT TYLENOL OR IBUPROFEN) I would try to give 1 to her tonight if possible.
If not it’s okay too.
