I have three beautiful Welsh Harlequin ducklings as of last night - ALL males!

There are only two in the picture because the last one hatched a bit late and was still in the 'bator drying off. I'll update with a picture of all three soon!

Great pictures! I go to lock down on Saturday, 7 eggs still going strong. My cat just in the process of giving birth, two beautiful kittens so far, so I'll have kittens in a box under the table and chickens in the bator above, can't wait.

annarie I'll take one of those males off ur hands, they are so cute. to bad I ain't going ur way any time soon. we have a camper near u on 13 bout a mile from the corner pump. I know you know where that is, I'm I right?

HI Everyone
Great pics. I am having the worst luck!
Today we got our new fresh local eggs so we put the older (I am calling bad eggs) in the other incubator. Our enw hopefully good eggs were set this afternoon and we are hoping for better luck.

We kept 3 of the older eggs out b/c they had nothing going on when candled... one exploded inthe paper towel we were using to throw it away! I am telling you all, the worst smell EVER!!
Anyways. I am tempted the throw the rest away, we cannot see much in any
any thoughts? Lockdown would be on Thursday if we continue with these?? I have a feeling the rest are duds as well. Since I am doing this with my class, I would hate to have a deformed chick..
