You cut the bottoms out of an egg carton & stand the eggs up in the cups with pointy end down throughout incubation & just tilt the cartons or whole bator instead of turning individual eggs. You leave them in the cartons for hatch & it keeps the chicks from rolling each other's eggs all over the place.I hear people talking bout the egg carton method for hatching… could some one explain?
Thank you.... I took both vent plugs out. Now I'm have trouble with my temp won't higher than 99 I'm shooting for 100.5 on top of the eggs in my still air incubator. What temperature should I be shooting for?Yes, everything should be fine. Mine had to go into lockdown early too. Had 3 to pip before time. So far 8 have made it out and today is hatch day. Good luck. I take both plugs out so they get fresh air.
