Set Eggs August 25, anyone else?

I have been searching through the side of the bator for a pip, none yet! Tomorrow is 21 days....

I have been intrigued by those on another thread who are hatching chicks from the super market. Sooooo, today I found myself out of town, went to a large grocery store and crossed my fingers that they just might have fertile eggs. I FOUND SOME!!! I bought them for $3.49, what a deal. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try! I now have that dozen warming up on the window sill with hopes to be put in the bator tomorrow (or under a light till my little guy hatches). I don't have the best luck in the world, but I figured I'd gamble with $3 and change. Its fun!

I have read through that thread about store bought eggs - did you find them at trader joes? Why do places even sell fertile eggs? Seems like an odd thing to advertise - but good luck!

At 8 pm tonight I'll enter into day 20. I keep hoping I'll see a pip late tonight - so that I can stay up all night and watch.

I'm going out to eat now - thank goodness - get me away from this bator!

yes, I really really hope they hatch, but they were washed eggs that had been refrigerated before I got them, from the Farmer's MArket, so I don't know what kind of chance they have to hatch.
So I'm really crossing my fingers here.

I woke up to a pip/almost full zip today! It's a little Orp. Anyways, still waiting for he/she to make it out all the way! No one else has pipped yet. Now I need to convince myself to go to work! I'll post pictures later!

I have a chick out! I have never seen a chick zip so fast! I still don't have any other zips so it will be alone for awhile.
