yes! It arrived yesterday. setting eggs today!

I forget we are a bit ahead of you time wise. For some reason i always think we are a day behind you!! I am happy your incubator did arrive.

I am setting my 6 silkie eggs today! I’ve done previous hatches in my old incubator, but never was very successful. crossing my fingers hard for these silkie eggs to add to my breeding pen.

unrelated to my incubator hatch- but should I assist this baby or leave it? 2 pips at 4:30am, neither have made much progress AT ALL. I know it can take a while, but these are my barnyard mix eggs and usually never take this long to hatch. the other egg is even worse than this one with just the original pip.

I put eggs under a broody today -- 8 mixed eggs that my flock laid yesterday. Maybe hatching on August 9th.

I've never intentionally had a broody hatch before but I *think* she's committed to sitting in the maternity ward so I'm giving her a try.

I have started 20 quail eggs in a different incubator to my 11 olive egger eggs and 18 Australorp eggs. They should hatch on the same day but in separate incubators. That is the plan anyway!!
