I am getting so excited...getting close to lockdown ....well 4 more days. Hope these eggs hatch really well but will be glad if any hatch.

I have a hatch due on the 12th, 13th, 15th, 22nd, & 24th

Great...mine are due the 14th, 23rd, 25th, and 31st. with some stragglers in between the 14th and 23rd. So yeah we will be there together...Hope yours hatches great ..what do you have hatching? This is my first time and I think I over did it.

I think I over did it too. lol. My son (13) had kidney surgery & before he went in he had this crazy idea that we would raise chickens for him to show in 4-H. We didn't know anything about chickens. When he came home, he was very tired and bored so, we found ebay. We researched and found some chickens that would be good to show and would be docile. I hope we picked good.

Our 1st hatch is (4) Black Jersey Giants & (4) Serama, Cochin, Silkie, Frizzle, D'Uccle, Seabright (Surprise eggs!).

Our 2nd hatch is (7) Golden Laced Crested Polish & (2) blue/black/blue silkies (don't know what color just marked BS).

Our 3rd hatch is (?) Golden Laced Crested Polish (started w/ 10 still have 10).

Our 4th hatch is (2) EE, (5) NN, (5) BBS Orps, (4) Silkies, (6) AmerOrps (project), (1) EEOrp (project), (4) D'Uccle/? (project), & (3) ducks (Call?)

Our 5th hatch is (15) Serama, Cochin, Silkie, Frizzle, D'Uccle, Seabright (more surprise eggs)

Plus, I have (17) 3 week old chicks. Those are listed at the bottom. We just jumped in. I ended up buying 3 incubators to make room for all of them. We were blessed w/ 46 acres and farming neighbors. Luckily, if I end up with too many roos or mean hens we have an auction in town every weekend. This will certainly be interesting. Glad I have someone to hang with me. lol.

We are about to get a well needed rain, but not liking these lights blinking when I have 72 eggs in the incubators.

Or maybe it is just thunder don't look like we are going to get any rain.

Glad no lights /power outages. Sorry no rain. We need it desperately too but when it starts lightning I'm on pins & needles. Good luck w/ everything.

When I quote a reply from my cell phone (Droid RAZR), it won't go under in the dark gray area. How do make it do that? I can't tell if it is in the other persons box or mine. I want to stay connected even away from my computer, but I want to do it properly w/o making anyone made. I'm sorry if that happens. I'll try to keep my comments to a minimum until I'm back @ the laptop.

Glad you finally got rain with no outages I decided to finish fighting with high humidity last night. Can't seem to get it right...high temp has been the worst. Candled some that are due next week. All were still swimming

Mine that are due on the 14th are so dark inside that I can hardly see anything. Don't know if that is normal or not but hope so.

I see the air cell and all the rest is dark.
