Good luck. Did you sign up for the Easter Hatchalong? I did have some I set, but I took them all back out again. There are others on this thread that will have eggs hatching the same time as you.
What did you set?

I put in 14 GLW eggs, 2 from my EE'er and on from my black sexlink. The GLW's is really what I wanted. I know I have a fertile rooster so I guess it's up to me to hatch um.

@wholewheatchicken, I'm not trying to brag or anything but my friends call me the EBAY KING! Let me give you some advise not just for ebay but any website thats an (Auction) Never! Never! Never! bid early. All (Newbies) that don't know about bidding will bid early not realizing all your doing is running the price up higher and higher bidding back an forth back an forth. And in the end you will LOSE! I promise, Reason= Smart bidders like myself wait untill the last minute even seconds some times and run the bid as high as we would offer for the item. There for winning our prize. Let me give you an example= say your wanting a dozen rare eggs and the bidding starts at $50. But you know there really worth $200 but you say well I'm willing to spend $150 on them. Well set and wait and wait but don't bid yet. Wait untill there is only a minute or so left and then bid the whole $150 your willing to spend. On the other bidders side it will just say you have been out bid please enter a bid in amounts of.50 cents or greater. So ofcoarse they strart freaking out oh no I've been outbid so they start entering $1 after $1 after $1 trying to win for it just to say you have been out bid by the time they realize what happened? If they ever even do realize what happen you won the AUCTION! YEA! THE END

Yes, I am, but I'm not always sure it's about the right things!

I agree with you. I haven't bid yet. I never bid in the beginning. It just lets others see that someone is interested in the same item and sort of plays your hand, so to speak. I too am the kind to wait five minutes before things end and jump in there. I'm hoping with that method the others feel safe and have gone out to dinner or to bed or wherever they might go!!!!!
This is what I never, never get on the bidding I see here. Let's say the opening bid is $10. The very first person jumps in and says I'll bid and then whatever they bid, but it's over $10. Why would you do that on the very first bid? If no one else bids, you effectively bid against yourself and paid extra. I can see doing it on any bid after the opening. It really irks me because let's say just one other person bids and then the first person doesn't come back and bid, you have been hijacked by the first person that ran the price up and apparently didn't even really want it that much.
Whooo, enough of that. So glad to tell that to someone other than my family who is more than likely tired of hearing me complain about bidding methods!
Did you get the roo? I thought that was really generous for the person needing to rehome him to offer to pay the shipping. I haven't been back over there to see what happened to him. I'm supposed to be limiting my time on here so I can get my chores done. I did pretty good today. With my free time, I went and stood in different places in the yard to watch my chickens playing. Do you think I've made progress?
Got the LG today and am stabalizing the temperature. It's still air so I have gotten sidetracked on finding out what the temps should be for that. I guess I should mosey on along now.
In case I forgot to tell everyone (I know I didn't) tomorrow is lockdown.

WELL, I CANDLED AGAIN CAUSE I AM CRAZY AND WORRIED........

And hey, go easy on the newbies with the auctions..lol.. I have learned a lot of what you both are talking about-- the hard way, haha. And then there are times it is just fun to bid but I am wiser now :)
