I just candled my 7 BLRW eggs and they all look good and have movement!

Wonderful. Don't you love watching those little swimmers? I got some recently that are so active I wondered what they were feeding the breeding stock. I hope they stay strong all the way through as they had detached air cells when they got here. I peeked in a few today and they were looking very stable. I am almost to day ten on them.

I started 11 eggs on 3/17 and they're due the day before Easterish.
I bought the 11 little miracle starters from a local farming couple who had Australorps, Leghorn mixes, Easter Eggers, Hamburg, Minorca, and Rock mixes.
I just candled yesterday and I have 9 possibles with 3 or 4 huge chicks swimming around.
Im SOOOO eggcited

Any Tips?

Terrible picture, sorry, I had to adjust the heat a little bit so I opened it up and saw this - the camera wouldn't focus and I didn't want to leave it open for long!
Luckily I have a really busy day tomorrow - so I won't be stuck at home, constantly tempted to check the incubator!!

I hope that at least one of my eggs hatch. This is my first time setting eggs and I have had a hard time of keeping the temp at 99.5. It keeps going up and down.

We will see what this weekend brings.

I have had the exact same problem....will be interesting to see if anything hatches. I have movement in the eggs so I guess something is right LOL. Good luck
