Set eggs this morning. November 2, 2011

Took the turner out last night, cracked one egg through carelessness(see my DARN thread) but should be ok, added some water but the humidity only came up to 62°F. Added some more and we'll see what it says tomorrow morning.

I candled the cracked egg tonight and chick seems ok. It's moving anyway. Haven't heard any peeps yet. Last hatch(this is only my second ever) I got peeped at before they even left the turner.

I woke up to PEEPS! and just as I was leaving I saw a PIP.

There was more than one egg rocking and rolling in there.

Is anyone else peeping or pipping?

I have hatched! Out of 4 eggs i had only 2 hatch! I hatched the other two just to see what they looked like! They were all the way formed except the yolk hadnt went into there bodies yet! So i am guessing that they were quitters!

Congrats! I keep watching mine...notta yet, what do they say if you watch for a pot of water to boil, paint dry....LOL! Hope they hatch quick for you

Whooooo We have hatch.

16 so far. They're so CUTE! I hope I never let this get old.

and Mr Thiessen from the local hatchery dropped off 6 chicks(Hy-Line Layers) for me! How nice was that!?!

So far 3 have hatched, two pips, one zipping and a few others rolling....I've threatened bodily harm if anyone even attempts to open up the incubator to pet the chicks!

So far, all my eggs have peeped at me a few times! They've all internally pipped and one pipped about an hour ago! We're on the homestretch, now! Anyone else???

One beautiful Buckeye peeping away and out of it's shell! 10 more still to go... but I'm only hearing one more pip coming from those 10 eggs. I'm glad I have to go to work, I would get nothing done today.

I've heard some random peeping and 1 of the marans eggs pipped on the underside of the egg, but should be in the aircell from where the chip of egg is laying in the bator, patience is not my strong suit...
