Hey yall will be setting eggs from newchickens2009 , dominique , ee and dominque on ee hen cross. Thanx som him i'm also buying a thermometre tommorow. have the bator running . Should i let eggs sit ?? For how long he says 24 hrs but what say u guys. I'll keep yall posted this is my first tyme hatching ??

Yes you need to let the eggs sit anywhere from 12-24 hrs. It depends on when I get them and how cold they may be. I like to set my eggs in the evening. Good luck with them.

I'm setting tomorrow for the 1st time too! Got the bator runnin!

I'll be setting bantam cochin mixes. Figured I'd try a mix first. Gonna seperate them out soon. I have birchen, barred, and blues! I can't wait.

Mine should hatch on the 8th so i am a week befor you all but can i still hatch with you guys? I need the suport! I have 4 thermomiters in my bator and they all read dif temps! Should i trust the new reptile one that i just got? thanks and hope you all get good hatches.

Someone gave me my incubator and it had the thermometer in it. It tells both temp and humidity. Don't really know what kind it is though

, sorry.

I turned my incubator on a couple days ago to get it running. Temp/humidity holdins steady for 2 days so I put my eggs in today.

Mine is a homemade (well made) still air incubator. A family freind gave it to me! Hope it hatches me some babies !

great guys i recalculated and i'm actualy due for the 18th. But the eggs were supposed to have arrived on the legacy wghich currently ios at the dock. did call me as yet so my grandfather is on his way there now to pick up the stuff. Cant wayt. I accidentaly cut my self ( finger opening cream can to make ceral ) , I was ooo egg cited !
