Set my very first eggs today (due March 24th) - need a hatching buddy!

I candle on day 5 for veins and I candle on day 9 (yesterday) and saw my little chicks swimming around.. loved it.. had to show my 8 yr old.. he was just laughing.. probably at me though.. as Im excitedly and repeatly saying to him " See it See it, do you see it?" Yes Mom I see it . Right there, see it. Yes Mom I can see it. OH boy...

I will candle every 4/5 from here out.. not to little, not to much in my opionion..

Yay! That is such good news!! I have a bit to go before I can candle these little ones, wish I could hit fast forward!!

I do that to my hubby when I candle...LOL...he just laughs at me!

Can't wait to candle again in a few days so I can remove the clear eggs and concentrate on the good ones!

Just had to share. We have peeping from under my broody hen this morning. The egg is due tomorrow but I think she'll come today.
