Set my very first eggs today (due March 24th) - need a hatching buddy!

I just started day 21. I can hear chirping, but still only 1 pipping. I think its Happy Hour now, i can sure use it.

chickenlady.......I'd wait on adding water. The chick hatching is going to bump up the humidity. If after a while it still isn't up, then add WARM water. And yes, leave it in there. It will encourage the others to get moving and they don't need food/water for a couple days.

I guess I should go get the brooder ready. The light is hung, all I gotta do is put shavings and food/water in.

I know.

I'm not very good at THIS part of hatching. I need to collect eggs too, so there's another 5 minutes. I have LOTS I SHOULD be doing around the house.

Hey, new2chooks, just so you know, begging the egg to hatch isn't working either(I just tried).

Also, telling it you have things you need to do besides watch the incubator, bribing, etc. I've tried it all today!
