Setting 28 eggs tonight, feel free to join me.

Yay! I'm so happy for you guys! Rsf31tmp they'll come soon, patience is a virtue.

I went to sleep with 5 babies, woke up this morning (at 2:30) to 7, and at 4 to 8, and at 6 to 9, and at 9 we have 10! The incubator is in my bedroom (bad idea) so every time one comes out it peeps super loud, and wakes me up to say hello.

I've got the brooder set up and as soon as it gets a little warmer I'll pull out the fluffiest ones and give them some food and water.

I know! Even though I have land, my hubby only wanted a max of 9. So I had to pick one breed, did not want to cross breed, over the past two years off and on I have done research and this was the one I came up with. I was going to go with the Black Cooper Marans, but saw these and that was all she wrote!

I took some pictures of the 7 I have in the brooder, the other 3 are still in the incubator, and there's 8 eggs left that have no movement.
