Today,

I got 22 rare eggs from a friend. When they hatch out, I will let you know what they are. Its gonna be a suprize. Hehe. They aren't bantams, not layers, not longtails, no meat birds...

Can you guess?

Haha

Anyways, I also have 6 BBR Onagadori eggs in there too and 1 Golden Pheasant egg. 1! <---She laid only 1 in 2 weeks...WAT???

Dunno whats wrong...

Anyhow...my last (first time) hatch was 100%. 25 Chicks! Hope this will result the same too!!!

Can't wait!

Does anyone here have prior knowledge of incubating Pheasant eggs? I wonder if the temp and stuff is the same as chicks...just longer hatch date?

I read from an earlier post that the temp is the same for Pheasants and Chickens and the HUMIDTY is same too.

My last hatch, I used only 35-45% HUM and got 100% hatch, and since the page posted there shows the same for both species...is it OK for same HUM. for both things?

Here ya go, Tommy...Incubation Chart

I kept the humidity at 60% for the first 19 days, then raised it to 80% for the last 3 days. Temps is the same as chicken chicks, 99.5.

Good luck with your hatch and can't wait to learn what the surprise is!

Oh yeah?

Hummm...the hum right now is about 40% +/- 5%. Thats good for chickens and if pheasants can do it, thats SUPER! I can't go up to 65% because chickens won't do good there...

So hard!
