so excited for you all...my hatch just finished yesterday and it was all very exciting, nerve wracking, heartbreaking, and joyful all at the same time...can't wait to see all the pics of your new babies...

Waiting is the hard part

Sometimes mine start hatching on day 20 (today) and sometimes on day 21. There is A LOT of starring going on!!

I have been waiting to take pics of them all fluffy so i will today...but i was busy with two shrink wrapped babies..cleaning, fussing, and worrying oer them all night...they are good now and in the brooder...still not perfect but better! and they will survive as they are drinking and eating...poor babies! Heart breaking

I had 14 shipped eggs BBS Ameraucanas and I now have 10 wonderful babies...2 splash, 4 black, and 4 blue...i lost a splash due to shrink wrapping...didn't get home in time for him but saved the other two!

That is a great hatch for shipped eggs!

Who did you get your Ameraucana eggs from? Shipped eggs sure have more problems with shrink wrap due to the large, detached air cells

My one remaining shipped egg has a perfect air cell from sitting an extra couple of days

I am going to try the same thing with my bantam Polish eggs that should be arriving today

Anyone else crazy enough to be starting more eggs in the next few days? This REALLY needs to be my last hatch of the season!!!

Well I lost one of my three......very small chick, it was alive and well when it went into lockdown...but air cell was small and lots of empty space in the egg. Opened it up and lots of fluid. Have another egg that looks exact same way and one that looks like it should. No clue what happened, humidity never went above 35%....typically hovered between 30 and 32%. No wiggling, but both chicks are moving.
