Ive got the coolerbator coming up to temp now, going to move all the hatching eggs to there so i can work on the ultrabator tonight... so pretty much I'm purposely going to allow 60+ eggs to chill while I work.

OK. I've got the hatcher cleared out and cleaned so I can move eggs from the incubator into it to make room for the NYD hatch along. I will have to turn them by hand for a couple of days but that's OK. Tomorrow I'm setting 30 eggs in my cooler-bator at noon :) I did get one new chick from my broody splash marans today. She just keeps hatching and I keep taking them. I have gotten about ten from her so far and there always seems to be at least 12 eggs under her. Wonder how long she will keep this up? Should I just let her keep going or should I make her take a break?

Night of day 7 and I candled again to check on the ones I marked as question marks. And tonight out of 21 eggs I have 16 good eggs with great veining and most with embryo movement and then I have 5 eggs that are clear/infertiles. Im happy so far, though I was wishing all 21 were fertile. I wont candle again til day 14(I even gave DH my flash light so I cant peek early lol). I will dispose of my 5 clears come day 14 since I am not comfortable declaring them clear just yet since its only my first time incubating.
