I know! I have one that pipped though. The chick that hatched earlier is eating the small egg shell pieces this is normal correct.

Well, he's doing what they normally do and testing stuff out to see what's food and what's not. I can't really say that that's good for him though, especially since babies don't do well with a lot of calcium, but I don't think a little nibble would hurt.

Day 21 and nothing liggle egg has had no movement now for 48 hours. no pipping. you stubborn chick.. hatch hatch! ROFLMAO

You aren't worried about him? I'd be up worrying up a storm if I was in your position, lol. I'm hoping my duckies take it easy on me but they probably won't

6 chicks now (4RIR and 2 Wel) just 4 more left and I see 2 have pipped but its hard to tell those chicks are rolling them around like there a party down there! Can't wait to post better pics once I get them out of the incubator. The Wel have strips going down there back.

just thought i'd add to all this

my last hatch 2 weeks ago i had eggs that went into day 21 and no pip

the pip and the zip didnt commence till day 22 and i had a 100% hatch rate

so dont worry it will hatch


also to add

day 16 for me and i candled again and all 24 eggs looking real good - no losses touch wood yet

cant wait till the 12th
