9/10 eggs had dancing chicks inside them when I candeled last night! I'm in awe and disbalief that they have made it this far!! If 2-3 hatch I'll be happy with my first incubation experience. Anyone else fascinated by the adorable embryos moving around in their egg?

Since it was less than a day...I would think it will be fine. Just keep a check on it....and keep doing the usual routine.
I have drowned eggs, dried eggs, dropped eggs, and almost anything you can think of. Usually I still have good hatches (well.....not out of the dropped ones

)

ETA:Temp fluctuations worry me more than short humidity drops

First timer with 15 Silkie eggs in the incubator and 3 under the hen :/started 11/17. Tried candling today at day 4 and saw some dark spots. Too terrified to trust myself to throw out the clear and porous eggs yet.

Well it looks like my 4 pekin eggs which were carried as hand luggage on a flight and would have gone through the airport scanner are developing

They are only at 3 days but I can see development in 3 of them and I think the 4th too if my eyes arnt playing tricks.

My 12 bantam leghorn eggs have been a little bit disappointing, only 5 were developing and 2 have quit so fingers crossed for the 3 left they still have a long away to go, there may be another one but it seems to have such a thick shell the light wont penetrate it at all?? And its not a dark shelled egg either has anyone encountered that before??

How is everyone going with their hatches please report in!!

Hi all....
Good luck on everyones hatches. I have some due to hatch tonite. Had 5 out of 8 on my 1st try and this is my 2nd try. Started with 18 down to 13. (homemade incubator) Not sure what to expect, temps keep dropping 99 then 95 grrrrrrr... humidity is good. I did break-down and order a brinsea, should be here today. I'm already collecting eggs.
