exciting!! I already candled once!! couldnt help but do it a little early!!
What kind of turkeys do you have? I sure would like to attempt them someday for my husband. He would love to see them roaming the farm...
Good luck on your hatch.. Hopefully we will be grandmas together!!! lol
We had White Broad-breasted, Bronze Broad-breasted, one black and a couple Royal Palms. They are all so sweet and love being around people! We sold the Royal Palms, they were flyers and wouldn't stay in the yard...lol...but beautiful birds. Just know that Turkeys tend to eat A LOT! The Broad-Breasted also get very big, very fast, so be ready to process at about 7 months old...
I think I am going to candle my eggs tonight! Haven't done it yet, but it is time!!! I'm excited!
Good luck on the candling!!!! Maybe someday I can get some tuyrkey eggs to hatch for the DH!! then he might not feel so left out!! He really isn't much of a chicken man but he has done sooooo much to make sure my girls are safe and happy...
