Setting Eggs 12/27 Anyone else?

awww!! I am soooo happy for everyone!! my face was pressed up against the bator just a few minutes ago... but no rockers, no conversations...BUT I think I do see one spot on one egg that may be a pipe!?! We will see soon enough...today is day 20. I hope everyone is Blessed with a wonderful and safe day and also more healthly peeps in the bator as well!!!

I sure hope today goes fast.. had a root canal yesterday afternoon and whew... now that all the numbing wore off....It more than likely will be a long day...can't eat, can't talk...CAN"T stay at home and watch movies with the boys and watch for little fuzzy butts... yeap it's going to be a long day! Wish me luck..

I told you I was one of the late ones..I am in lock down..now for Thrus. to get here. And hoping I get some to hatch, like I said before, crazy air sacs.

Day 19 now and I have 2 chicks hatched! last night I saw 2 pips then this morning the holes were just slightly bigger. I took the kids to school and when I got home I had 2 chicks! I missed it!!! Oh well, 23 to go... One more pipped this morning.

I'm on day 19, too! I have two chicks out, 4 pips and one that's starting to zip. The ones that are out are a Lavender and a Black bantam Cochin.

They are taking awhile to dry... Well, I think so, I never had to wait for the drying. How long does it take?

I don't know how long drying is supposed to take but mine are just starting to fluff up a little after about 3 hrs.

Here's the two that are out! I am thinking they are both Lavender now that they aren't so slimy. They have been out of the shell since about 4am and this is all the drier they are. My humidity is ranging from 62-65% and my temps are around 100 (still air). The poor little ones are panting and I can't do anything about it.

I have six hatched and the last four eggs have all pipped. Just an interesting note, the last four eggs are the one I set a day later, and the three eggs which had been in the fridge. I think being in the fridge slows them down a tad.

Here are five of my new peeps, one is out of the picture.

I have a Mille Fleur hatched! It zipped fast! The one in the pic to the right that has the large pip hole hasn't made any progress in the last 3hrs. It's still moving around, though. So, I have 5 more pipped/zipping! The other 10 eggs aren't showing signs of emerging yet.
