Setting Eggs 12/28 - Hatching Buddies? Hatch-Along

I just put two duck eggs in the incubator. I hope they hatch. This is my first attempt to hatch duck eggs bc my ducks just started laying. Hopefully they are fertile!

what kind of ducks are you hatching?


I hope everyone is doing well with their hatches! I have 6 now and all seem to be doing well. When one hatches they all throw a peeping party.

LOL Isn't that the truth? I really think they encourage each other on.

yeah I guess it's good motivation... iI noticed the first one to hatch are checking out the ones that are trying to hatch... like come on out and join the party. Then they all crash until another one hatches and it starts all over. I work nights so they woke me up early peeping... lol.

Third egg has pipped. With all the chatter going on it may not take as long of this one. So far they both look blue rather than splash.
