I lost my backwards peep. Last night. I knew it would happen. And I had one die in the shell after peeping this morning Never had that happen before. But all the others are doing well.

I'm sorry to hear that But very glad that the rest seem healthy!!!

mine did too. And cots can be very peckish. EVERYTHING that cannot defend its self. Poor thing I had to keep putting it back in the bator which was sad cause all it wanted to do was cuddle.

I was, but they're out now! I had three more eggs that pipped, and they all have hatched now. Two more eggs are still in the incubator, but I think they are late quitters. Neither of them has pipped, and they are not peeping. They look slouched when I candle them. So, out of 16 eggs originally set, 14 made it to lockdown, and 12 have hatched.
