Today I set 15 black copper maran eggs I ordered from eBay...and 11 black sex link eggs from my own flock . So far everything going good...what kind of incubator you using

I just bought a new incubator and I'll be setting 20 mixed eggs tomorrow :/

Good luck to you..let us know what kind of eggs you setting abd what incubator you using...abd any details you might like to add..Me I do everything my own way..I just use common sense to determine my decision but it always works out for me....I'm using a little giant 9300 still air with a auto Turner...I actually just finished a hatch today..cleaned out my incubator abd threw in the next ones...my last hatch was 11 black sex link eggs from my own flock I hatched 9/11...actually 10/11 but had to cull one because it was born with intestines on outside of body

I make sure not to place any eggs directly under the heating element because then only those will be the right temp abd the ones on outside will be colder... Or the one on outside Will be tight temp but the ones in middle will be to hot....so positioning is very important....next I don't put any water at all...I set my digital temp control to 99.6 abd throw a jacket over it and check it next morning to see what I need to do on control..

Im using the LG 10300! Its been running for 3 days and the temps on my two thermometers just stabilized -_- Ive never used it before so im nervous! Im setting 12 Trader Joes eggs, they are right at 14 days so im not really expecting anything out of them. Ill be setting 2 cornishxBarred rocks, 3 rslXbarred rock and 3 silver spangled hamburgXbarred rock!
