Setting eggs, anyone want to join me? Hatch-Along

If he didn't make it carefully peel apart the shell to see if it was because he didn't have enough room to breathe or if he died from something else.

I didn't help him out but I did remove the shell after he passed and his sack was nearly drawn up but he was twisted in the shell sideways like I said before. I guess fro$m the low temps I had weak babies I will be setting again after I get my taxes back and get my new bator so wish me luck then!

Poor bud. Sometimes nature knows best :(. Maybe it just wasn't strong enough to position correctly.

Good luck with your future hatches :). I'll be setting up another live hatch cam at the end of the month! Doing two dozen this time.

:( Aw, I'm sorry DURR, you tried that's all you could do. Maybe he aspirated some egg fluid and that caused the gasping. My third hatcher came out on its own, and I think it was too early. Its still got a little yolk left to absorb (and there wasI quite a bit of blood too) so I'm not sure if it'll make it. You're not the only one having bad luck :/

One of mine had a little bit of yolk sticking out. He had a rough start but with sugar and vitamins and electrolytes in his water he did fine :)

Thank you guys for all the help and support. I have a friend of mine going to start incubating about 2-3 dozen for me sometime this week.:) so I will hopefully have some babies she's a little more experiaced then me!! Haha.

Good to know. My little early bird is resting still and the yolk is getting smaller so hopefully it'll pull thru :fl
