Setting eggs June 3rd. Need hatching buddies! Lets have some fun!

Four out of my (now) seven seem to be growing, and it's day 5 for me! Woo hoo, this is my first hatch! So excited.

It really is an exciting experience. I am trying to talk my father into building me another chicken coop to accomodate whatever hatches, I would love to keep them all. My husband is insisting that I find homes for whatever we don't want to keep. I WANT them all. I would become the crazy chicken lady if I could.

My temp is stable. At night, I drape a light blanket over the incubator (homemade/styrofoam) to keep the temp from dipping too much. When I turn the eggs, I use my hairdryer to gently replace the lost heat. My three thermometers usually read between 99-102 (still air)

So should I give up at day 7 ?? the eggs are definitely not clear they have a dark mass but no veins,

I think that dark mass is a chick, but I'm very new to this.

If the eggs were infertile, I think they would be clear.

I would give it a little longer. I have one like that, only its a darker egg and tough to see, but for some reason I still feel like there is something in there.
