I agree that if it was not fertile it would be clear...I'd wait...I know you would hate it if you gave up and were wrong! Do all the eggs look the same? Before you give up you could sacrifice one and open it, and if there is a developing chick at least you still have 6 more!

So should I give up at day 7 ?? the eggs are definitely not clear they have a dark mass but no veins,

Soooo is it moving? The dark mass? Watch it by your candler for a couple/few seconds and see if it moves. There are great pages on candling eggs and how they should look at different stages. It helped me to know what to do at what point. Good luck. I would wait until you can see if anything moves, doesn't move, explodes, starts smelling poorly... that's what I was taught to do.

I don't know it's the beginning of day 7 and all I see is a dark mass in the eggs no veins at all

When I candled mine all I saw was dark...they did hatch!
