Also had three completely clear and porous so got rid of those, down to 15 not gonna candle again til day 18
Thanks to everyone for all the help and encouragement,,,,,,,,,,,sorry ahead of time cuz I am sure I will need much more before this is over
LOL

I counted up all my birds this evening. I've 53 Chickens & Chicks. 25 of them are chicks. 4 Turkey (3 are babies) and 2 adult Rouen ducks. My Silky is setting on 3 eggs and I've 19 eggs in the incubator and no place to put them all!! I've already given away about 1/4 of the chicks I've hatched this spring.

I candle my incubator eggs in 3 days. 3 of the eggs are blue, from an Ameracauna hen but not the Roo.

(And my husband thought 10 chickens was enough)

YAY!!!!

My humidity is very low....30ish. I have a cup of water in the incubator, and I pour just a tad bit of water on the floor under the wire. Any other suggestions to bring it up? I have had the water bowl in there for a few days..
Is this a major danger to the chicks?

No, But put a Wet Sponge in there. It will keep humidity up, then when you candle. and if the sponge is dry, wetten it again.

It's not an easy gig this hatching thing. I went through 4 batches until I got one batch to go right and now we're addicted! Just flipping love it. Many many congratulations. Keep turning and candling... move when you need to and best of luck!
