setting eggs on Thurs. Hatch date Feb 4th-who's with me??

well ... I have 6 of my girls out! No pipping on the BCM? I still Have 10 BCM in the incubator ... and 10 of my hens chicks ... with one of those pipping!

Wow .. they were asking for volunteers to leave early today .. took me about TWO seconds ..

Anyway, got home to 3 marans babies completely zipped and shrink wrapped in the shell .. they were alive, but weak. I drastically raised the humidity ... I took them out one at a time, and freed them up enough that they could get their little heads out .. then I layed them down in the bator and waited. They layed there for a while, just breathing .. and then kicked free. Two of them had pooped in the shell already .. poor babies .. So, I think they are going to be ok! Yay !

The little one with the bloody glob is still hanging in there .. it's dried and kinda stuck to his butt .. I've left him in the bator (don't want the other critters picking on him) .. but he's not happy.

11 of 12 marans (local) have hatched (I think at least one is a Wellie though) 12th still in the bator (its' really dark, but I think it was clear .. never could find an aircell or anything)

17 shipped eggs
2 clear leaving 15
11 have hatched
4 still in the bator
2 with pips .. but no signs of life

This is officially day 21

First pip evening of day 19 .... I'm not ready to say I'm finished yet..

I think it's been a GREAT hatch ...

Candled at day 10, 4 looked clear (confirmed clear) infertile on Day 14 Remaining 8 eggs 2 pure LF Light Brahma, 6 LF Light Brahma x Barred Rocks
Day 18 Candled, all of the remaining 8 seemed to be developing on schedule, midnight moved to Hatcher
Day 19 hear peeping, 4 pips, 2 hatched
Day 20 2 more Hatched, moved 4 LF Light Brahma x Barred Rock chicks to Brooder (quickly Temp drop 0, humidity drop 1%) 2 black, 2 silver (looking)

Today Day 21 nothing so far.

Hi guys..I may not be on much tonight. Went to doc and got some meds for my sinus infection and such and All I want to do is throw up real bad. The aintibotics made me so sick-doesnt help it was on an empty stomch!

I have 3 pips 2 in my silki eggs and 1 in one of the jubilee orps eggs..Its quiet though and temp was 99.7 humidity 60%...Im going to try and eat something so I dont feel so sick to my stomach and hope I feel better to chit chat and catch up:-( Sorry for being a poopy guys,,,
 
Thanks guys-feeling a little better with food in my belly thats for sure...I seriously almost pulled over on the side of the road-locked my doors and took a power nap-the meds made me so sleepy and sick!

anyway bout that garbage..Im looking for baby pictures:) I still have 3 pips and officially into day 20-I have see 2 out of the 3 chicks inside the eggs moving so I know they are fine... I try not to get to excited tonight-its more like tomorrow when I know Ill be at work and they will be hatching!
