setting eggs on Thurs. Hatch date Feb 4th-who's with me??

I have another question for all you experienced hatchers out there. What day do you call it quits, the beginning of day 24 or the end? Also, has anyone ever hatched a chick on day 23/24?

I have heard of them hatching as late as 28 days.

My DH just text me - another silkie hatched while I was at work. I won't call it quits tonight. I don't have another batch ready yet anyways.

Wow!! I guess I should hold in there then!! I have four left. Man hatching chicks is a bit nerve racking!

Unless I have eggs sitting on counter waiting to go in I leave them till day 25-the end of day 25-you never know..My chicks ahve hatched out day 23/24 before...Pictures will be up of my little hatch LOL..
