Looks like chick paradise. A window with sun to bask in! Fun fun! I have taken over my dining room. I have a small table in the corner with the incubators on it, and the brooders on the floor. I use big storage tubs. I sat in the chair so long last night watching the bator that I was looking for something to prop my chin on.
Setting eggs on Thurs. Nov. 10th - Any buddies? Hatch due Dec. 1st

They will come...they are just waiting till they are perfect.
This time I did not open the bator at all except for lockdown. This time I waited and watched. After the first couple hatched a couple pipped then nothing, made a bigger hole then nothing while two others pipped and hatched in the meantime. But I waited and sure enough those two finally hatched (at the same time) and fast when they were truly ready.
I am so proud of my hatch so far and of myself AND of my bator.
This whole hatch I did not even have a thermometer or hygrometer in there at all. And I went away for 9 days for thanksgiving (a friend stopped by and added water when it was low).
The Genesis 1588...awesome!
Pictures will be on Friday as I am out for a stupid work thing tomorrow night! Urrghh!

I also didn't have a hydrometer in there this entire hatch. I went by my previous notes and added water every 3rd day. I did check the therometer frequently. I have checked the humidty the entire hatch though. I did a no no and took out the 5 that had hatched. I had my husband open it quickly while I grabbed. It only dropped 1 degree. I couldn't stand seeing them panting and trying to eat at everything.

One of my EEs hatched - a gorgeous silvery color. Hope it stays that color! So that's three hatched - and I still have two EEs that have pipped. Tomorrow is day 21.
