Thanks!
Out of a total of 31 Araucana eggs that were set (between me and a friend), I got 3 chicks. But I had disappointing results from all my shipments of eggs. And so far, the eggs that I picked up locally haven't hatched any. I'm going to go back over my records to see if there's anything I did differently this time than the first time I hatched eggs - and I had great results then. This time, I got just a little over 10% hatch. I'm keeping the unhatched eggs in the bator another couple day - just to be sure there are no stragglers.
I don't have any roosters old enough to be a daddy yet. I've four araucanas that should be old enough to start laying and/or fertilizing within a month or so. I think I have two pullets and two cockerels - although it's hard to tell with Araucanas. So maybe I'll wait a couple months and try to hatch some of my own.
And I don't know how to sex any of the chicks. None of mine are auto-sexing.
Thanks!
