Setting eggs on Thurs. Nov. 10th - Any buddies? Hatch due Dec. 1st

That is a great hatch. Did you do something about the humidity like I suggested? I am curious how you did on that. I see your results and they're great. I love the pics. Best of luck to you on the rest.

BTW, I think I'm going to go nuts if I don't see this chick start zipping.

Ya actually I did. My hubby & I adjusted our humidity a little higher to 65-70% yesterday & woke up this morning to 3 out of our 5 pecking through this morning! What a great way to start my day huh?! I am excited that our homemade bator did so well. I can't quit telling my hubby thanks for making it for me, lol... Oh ya we did a dry incubation from days 1-18 at only 20-30% with keeping our temp at 99-100...

&& thank you for your advice earlier as well. I am so appreciative of everyone's help with this process.

I am right there with you about going nuts if my last egg doesn't start zipping through. lol...

The next thing you'll hear from me is whether he made it or not. Every time I watch, I see no movement on the pip. But, while writing here, he must be doing something, because, I see that the shell has moved oh so slightly. Catch ya later.

Edit: I couldn't help it. I saw him pip hard this time.

I just made myself some coffee to see if I can stay up any later. (Work is gonna suck tomorrow & 6am is gonna come quick, lol...) At least yours has a pip, I think mine went to sleep on me. She was peeping a few hours ago inside, but now the bator is quiet... no movement & no external zips...

The lightest one is a swedish flower hen, there are two greyish EEs, the two black/white ones are the choc orp projects, and 3 araucanas (one solid black, the other two grey/yellow).
