until my friend tells me she want to hatch more..
sad.png

she has WAY TO MANY ROOSTERS and need some hens to go with them..

I am hatching my next batch for my friend too. She loves polish. They will be hers, but reside at my house! Lovely deal we got going there! Any excuse to hatch, I say!!

i get to hatch
she gets all the glory...

i like your plan better

lol.. although she rents and all of hers will most likely end up with me anyways
hmm.png

5 roosters 12 hens 3 geese and two ducks.. and thats right now.. no telling how many she will end up with when spring comes..

Here's my 8 Lemon Cuckoo Orps. They still have a little stink eye. This looks like the end for me. I'll leave the other 3 that haven't pipped in another day just in case. I am very pleased with my 8. Good luck to everyone with your new babies.

Bikerchic watch for pasty butt? Think that's what it's called...I had to cut dried poop away from the butt of one of my silkies...got stuck on the vent because the chicks are just so darn fluffy...had to trim her little butt...

I'm still confused about my colors...the red light is not helping...I swear one is stripped like a partridge? And my paint's black spots look suspiciously like a couple of stripes not joined up...lol

dwegg, I found if mine got too hot they got pasty butt, so be sure and check the temprature and give them a cool spot. I have a wood stove and when it gets going good I noticed it more.
