Setting Eggs Sept. 24th-Oct. 4th-Last Hatch of the Year. Anyone care to join me?

I would say that they will still be ok, just maybe hatch a little late...slightly high temps...early hatch...slightly low...a little late...that is what I have found...be careful with a heater as well...it will dry out the air and suck the water out quicker...just keep your eye on the water level...

Chick number 5 just hatched...and it's black with white tips???? At least wet she looks like that...

Only 6 more to go......have any of the others pipped yet?

I..am...going INSANE. Blinkin' humidity won't do anything right. 50% so I add a very tiny amount of water and the stupid thing shoots to 70% so I pulled the air plugs and it's still at 70%. These chicks are going to drown to death before they think about hatching. When the first one hatches it's likely to shoot to 80 which will drown the rest.........never using this bator again, I hate it.

Don't play with the humidity...they can still hatch if it is low but too high and they will drown...try to keep your hands out of the bator...it's hard but just wait....

I have seen that silkie before...she is amazing and I think one of a kind at the moment...if mine does look like that I will be surprised but I doubt it...pics to come tomorrow when dry and they are in the bator
