Setting Eggs Sept. 24th-Oct. 4th-Last Hatch of the Year. Anyone care to join me?

I just candled my 3 OEGB eggs. They're on day 12.
2 are alive and developing! I saw them moving! Yay!!!

The other one had a large air cell form the start. When I candled it, it had strange splotchy dark spots.

According to the dry method, you should still keep your humidity over 25%. We have an LG too and made many modifictations to it to meet our standards. We added a fan from a computer we were not using anymore and hose to add water if the humidity drops too low. The temp was a bit touchy at first so you have to make small changes. Now we stay between 99.3 and 100.5. This is only our second hatch and will hopefully be better than the first attempt. Good Luck!

I candled mine for the first time today. They are at day 12. One was an obvious non-started...very clear..so I broke it open just to check myself on what I was seeing...and it just looked like a regular egg, probably wasnt fertile. Now...they rest....uhhh...I don't know what I'm looking at! LOL...some were very much developing and I could see veins and dark blob in egg. Some the air cell was pretty big...like 1/2 the egg, but the other half of the egg looked like something was happening...so I just left them in. There was one or two others that I don't think are good, but wasnt 100% sure. looked like a blob was in there...one floated around alot...which the other eggs didnt. Again, since I didnt know what I was seeing...I left it in there. Some of the eggs are dark brown and I really couldnt tell much, but it looked like *something* was going on. So...only threw out one out of 12..I'm sure there are a few others that arn't going to hatch...but hopefully I will get six??? from my first batch..I would be thrilled with that! I did up the humidity some..could be why some air cells look really big? the humidity was too low?/

It was at 20-25% most of the time. I took the "dry method" to heart and didnt add water. So, I added water and it's in the 30's now. The only way I can get it up to 50% or higher is to close both red vents..but I read not to close the vents..so have them open.
