Congrats...love the yellow and orange fluff balls...sorry to loose one but nature has a way of taking care of them like that...it was for the best...

Another one of mine just popped out...she is a paint...yay! She was fast coming out of the egg...she looks bigger than the other chick...which in silkies...small is better...but yay!

Well were in lock down the eggs feel heavier so maybe thats a good sign because I couldnt see inside these little buggers. Having trouble getting my temp up since I took out the egg turner humidity went nuts when I filled up water troughs its like starting all over. OMG gonna loose my mind. Due to hatch Weds and brroody silkie eggs due on Friday we shall see.

any suggestions on getting temp up I have been tweeking it but stays at 96.5? humidity ok now

hovabator with fan filled up water wells took out turner so im sure lost heat there should I just give time to stabilize how long can it be at 96.5. I do have another bator but it doesnt have a fan can I swith tops if this one doesnt regulate? thanks

Had the strangest thing happen last night. Check on the incubator and the humidity was at 50% (I haven't added any water in the last few days). It hasn't even been over 40% after adding water. Not sure what happened...took out one of the plugs.

Did you add cold water and your temps dropped? Move the thermometer? carefully bump up your thermostat if its still staying that low
