Setting eggs this weekend! Aug 14th! any hatching buddies?

I'm chiming in late to some earlier questions and comments, but I have incubators with auto-turners because I work AND turning the eggs would be just another thing I'd be afraid I'd do wrong..... it's why I got small incubators (fewer eggs to ruin at once) and as fully automatic and idiot-proof as possible.

I have candled two eggs of the 4 I've got "brewing" and ONE of them has veins and a heartbeat!!!! I swear I was so surprised I almost fell over backwards from looking in the eyepiece of the candler!! There's LIFE in that itty bitty egg. (And I mean itty-bitty: bantam cochin.) Tomorrow is what I've determined to be the Official Candle All 14 Eggs Day.

I will tell ya right now I won't discard ANY of the eggs because I don't think I can rish my inexpert eyes "missing" something. (But I will mark the ones I CAN tell something is developing in.....) Hmmm, maybe I should mark the Suspect Eggs instead..... dunno.

Oh well. The two batches are due 9/6 and 9/10.

And Monday is my 57th birthday. I don't feel that age, at all.....

Lock down Sunday night about 8pm. 25 of 28 eggs doing great. I forgot one very important thing in our bator we built, some where to let them hatch! How dumb. Oh well learn from my mistakes and keep getting it. Anyway, built a new hatching box. Looks like it is going to work great.

I am able to keep my humidity between 50-55% and my inside egg temp from 98.8 - 99.9. I'll post pics later.
I found a guy on here that had posted about altering the water heater thermostat, so I tried it on my new hatch box. Drilling the holes in it really did make it cycle faster. He had said he was getting 0 variance in his temp. I did not get that but I did shorten it down to
1 - 11/4 degree change. Worked for me.

Looking forward to our new chicks Wednesday.

39 out of 52 goin into lockdown tomorrow, WOO HOO!!! Side note, wife comes out tonight and says, there's a blue polish egg rockin in the turner. Oh crap, homemade cabinet bator, eggs on top rack, 3 foot drop to bottom. Really hoping she stays in the shell tonight while i'm at work, besides, it's a little earlier to be poppin out yet.
