I have around 14 good eggs in the incubator! When is everyone locking down??

I go on lock down Tuesday. I'm down to 4 eggs from my original 10. I saw movement in 2 of them this week. Looking forward to my first hatch next weekend!!

wow, I think my lock down is on thursday too! I almost did it today but today is only day 17! I have 12 from my 30 left!

Whoops, I'm sad I missed this until now. I started a batch of Delawares at about the same time, and they all hatched out a couple days ago. I started with fifteen eggs, and ended up with ten chicks.

CReagan, do you know the gender of your first ones yet? I was wondering if the feather length thing worked.



I used food coloring to tell them apart, but I had a bit of trouble with the first one (the blue chick on the left).
