setting eggs tonight 6/23 anyone else???

Day 23 and finally two more pipped out over night. Our original pipper is still trying. So exciting to get this far. Egg in upper right back and #8 egg on right are the two new ones.

Well we have 2 pips still big holes. We lost the one chick got his head almost all the way out came back and lil one had passed.

Kinda funny looking at the egg that did hatch and gave us a fuzzy but was egg #1 and was the first to hatch.

We have our first chick!

And he's all over that bator and the other eggs - even helping peck some open!

Day 23 and we're up to 3 chicks - one just popped out during dinner! They are rampaging through the bator kicking around the other 8 eggs.

That one is a partridge silkie. The other two that have pipped are from cuckoo and white with splash pens. That sucker zipped and was out FAST!

I have 2 silkies..a white roo, and a partridge pullet..they are about 5 months old.
