I understand why you are staying with them tonight LaynaDon. I will hopefully be doing the same thing in less than a week watching my little babies hatch.

They are precious!!!!

I know! My mom's friends daughter wanted to come over to watch them hatch. We had them over for lunch but I warned them they probably wouldn't see much. Lo and behold 1 hatched and another started zipping while they were over! Her daughter was so excited!

I can't believe I got 5 already! I really wasn't expecting it.

I'm so excited to see more pics of all your guys' hatchlings!

Chicks # 6 and 7 have hatched! Both Easter Eggers! More pips and zips appearing every few minutes!

10 chicks so far! They seem to be slacking off for the moment. I have a pipped leghorn egg, a few EEs, and a couple other mixed.
The RIR is slowing down. I'm kinda worried about him. We'll see if he makes it.

I wish I could. But my incubator is borrowed and I can't kidnap it for that long.
I'm about to go to sleep. No hatches for about an hour so far. Plenty of pips, though.

If I have counted correctly we have 13 chicks now! Our poor RIR quit during the night. He had a hole big enough he might have been able to climb out of it, he just didn't make it. I can't tell what other breeds have hatched, and they move around so much it's hard to know how many we have! =P

They still haven't fluffed "fully". Most of them have completely fluffed except for a small stripe down their backs. Does this count as done fluffing? Even number one has some fluff laying down, though it looks mostly dry. With the high humidity is this as dry as they will get?

How are everyone else's chicks? Any more hatching? I hope you guys haven't had any quitters!
