Ok so I checked my eggs with my kid "In ear thermometer" and they were at 97 degrees.. they have been that for a day. So I turned up the temp and got them to around 99 and 100..Hopefully they are still good.....

Well so far it seems ok. I went and bought a different Temp and humidity indicator. I stopped messing with the water heater thermostat and am just gonna let it go and see if it works. If it doesn't I'm going to totally redo it and put a temp controller with a thermocouple and a PLC to automate the whole thing lol. I'll post in several days and let you know what I see when i candle the eggs.
No, Swedish Flower Hens.I see SF, do you have Salmon Faverolles?
Kimbroe... I am gonna check out that link, but since you already did the reading and research I may just follow your plan!!Then if it's a batch had I can say it's Kimbroe's fault!![]()

WHAT? This IS Friday the 13th!!! My poor little egglets are trying to hatch today!Ok, everyone, I am setting my eggs tomorrow and I am super nervous for my first hatch!! Thought it would be good to get some support seeing as how the eggs have to make it through Friday the 13th... Anyone with me??
Wahts a mad hatchers batch? Yeah pretty bad case of chicken "hatch" math..My eggs went in at 3 pm. All six dozen or so. One was real fragile and popped when I went to unwrap it. It was super porous, so I didn't lose a " real" egg. Porous eggs often lose too much moisture. This is my mad hatchers batch so I won't even actually count them until after first candling. Now I need more shelf material and staff to finish the bator. Lol hatching in an almost finished homemade bator. That's when you now you have it bad.
