Setting eggs week of 7/13... Anyone with me??

Okay Brahma peeps. I've been hatching my own LB from my last year chicks which were purchased from McMurray's. I know it is only hatchery stock but I'm okay with that. All the chicks have been black with yellow trim and develop into nice white and black birds. I did order some eggs listed as "quality" LBs, from ebay and 9 of the 12 went into lock down. I have 1 chick, not complaining it's my first ever chick from shipped eggs, lol.... Not having much luck with shipped eggs. BUT it's bright yellow, could this be an LB?????? I'll post some pics after it dries some more.

I cant keep my humidity down. It is staying between 45 and 55. I have put in a huge bag of rice, have placed desiccant packets in there and can't get it to change. I have 3 different hydrometers in there just to verify it was really that high, and it is. Doing a dry incubation but it's not staying very dry.....

I was seriously thinking the same thing.  I think I would like his info to contact about eggs.

Well he is an ebayer. I have bought all but one of my batches from him. He actually is on BYC and has done some auctions but not lately. Daniel Morales DanielMor on ebay. He has some silver and gold lace brahma eggs listed now. He has great fertility and stands behind his product. I have bought some others eggs and low to 0 fertility. He is NPIP and his birds are beautiful.

The 2 on the left are LBs that came from my last hatch. Does this help?

Well, the seller replied she will be sending me replacements.

Out of curiosity, that has me doing a staggered hatch. How do i manage that with lock down?

Only have one incubator.

I had to buy another bater just because of this. I actually bought 2 genesis and retired my LG due to serious temp fluctuations. I've kept it for a spare.

Wow, they are a lot lighter than any of my chicks. I'm sure the quality of my LBs, being hatchery stock are not super for breeders so I was trying to add some new and improved stock to it.

I'm going to look and post pics of my adult birds and what my chicks look like for you to compare.

They do seem to have a lot of black in them.

These are all LB chicks from my birds. I only have LBs so there is no way they could be crosses or anything like that. Possibly mine are not even close to quality. I've still got to get a pic of yella but got a million things going on right now, in a few hours I'll have time to play a bit.

LBs are the only adult birds I have, I should say. I have some 3 and 6 week old birds too but I've only got 1 LB roo and 11 LB hens for hatching eggs.
