Setting Thursday March 25.. Anyone want to join me??

I woke up to 4 more but one is hopelessly glued to the bottom of the shell.... Will be freeing him soon, he must have fell asleep in his goo. The rest of the eggs.... well I did think they were going to be slow didn't I?
I locked down the rest of the eggs last night, have them separated into baskets so I know who's is who's and I can be picky about who I'm keeping

Day 15 for me too and just finished candling them all removed one more egg that I was questioning anyway but definately what ever was happening in there has stopped as no movement and very small chick shape compared to the rest at this stage (RIP little chick)!! Still pleased with 22 out of 24 so far on my first ever attempt to hatch.

So excited for all of you that are hatching already making me anxious and wishing the days away but thinking I should get busy getting brooder ready and testing lamp - also need to order a themometer!!

Can we have some photos of them when they have fluffed up please.

Day 15 here too!!! Trying to keep myself from checking the babies..

Don't wanna mess up anything, when its time to remove the atomatic turner I might get to check a few...Wish mine were rocking...

By the way...... This was the first one to pip in the second batch! Pipped just a few minutes ago.

On the first batch I have one more that has popped the top if it's shell but hasn't quite finished closing the umbilical hole in it's abdomen yet so it hasn't thrown itself off the bottom half of the shell... yet...

I set some mutt eggs on the 26th of March also. Have been busy so have not been online much so I missed this thread. I go into lockdown on the 12th next week. Should hatch out on Thursday. I have a freind who gave me 9 BR purebred eggs I put in the other bator on the 31st so they should hatch out along with three of my own mutts to make an even dozen around the 21st. One egg is questionable as I candled them the other night and one did not show any veining. I figure I'll give it another five to seven days and candle again and see if anything shows up. A few already showed development. So this time Im in for 24 roughly. After this Im calling it quits for the season as I will be overrun with chickies.

So far the first batch looks promising if I can keep the stupid humidity in the Hovabator from dropping to 20-25%. Im afraid I'll shrink wrap them. One good thing I can say about the LG......humidity stayed pretty consistant..........it was just the dang temperature that fluctuated! !

Welcome to the thread... You know what they say.. Better late than never...

I'm having temp fluctuations too.. Most times I can catch it pretty quick so I'm not too worried about it.. Luckily, I haven't had problems with the humidity.. of course, I haven't hit lockdown yet though.. That will be sunday night/monday morning... I already say one rocking today so keeping an eye out for early pips.. As for the humidity for yours, A lot of people suggest getting something like a maxi-pad or folded up washcloth that will hold water without drying out too quick.. I've used sponges in the past and they just dry out way too fast so when i go into lockdown, I will fill the tray and if i need to bump it up, I will use a maxi...
