Ya'll know how impatient I am and Sunday is just taking it's sweet time on getting here ! I'm ready to candle them eggs again to hopefully see good results

Is the chick still moving? That is a tough one. You could wait a few days and candle again to check for progress in development and then you would know for sure.

Not really, but I couldn't tell for sure. I will candle again in another couple of days. I have one that is constantly moving. Poor guy if he or she is the only one that will hatch out of a dozen.

So I want to share candling pictures from Days 10 and Days 14. Unfortunately, I am not able to get the little photos to cooperate and upload to this site, so I am linking this to where I was able to upload.

for day 10, I put a picture of a yolker, an early quitter and a day 5 or 6 quitter along with a picture of a developing porous egg.

for day 14, I put a picture of a developing porous egg and some developing eggs that were not as porous. It is so much easier to tell if they are fertile and still growing if they are not porous.
