Setting today who's with me?!?

Is there a period of time when they are sleeping? Cuz my last stop moving when I candle it tonight.
They do sleep sometimes. Also, the larger they get, the harder it is to see them move. The egg just gets darker and sometimes you just see a small "twitches" inside.

I should see mine hatch on Monday/Tuesday. Hopefully all 43 make it!
Yes! I hope they make it too. What will you do with all the chicks? Keep? Sell? We are only keeping 6 pullets and the rest of the pullets and 2 roosters are going to a friend. Then we need to find a home for some roosters. Yikes!! We can keep them until they begin to crow, but after that, they will need to be dinners or pets for someone else.

I am giving 16 of these to a friend. I'll keep some, sell some...roosters will get put in the freezer ;)

I am specifically working with the Delaware breed, so I will hatch a lot more this year and try to keep the best hens for breeding next year. I try to keep about 25-30 hens year round.

Tomorrow is day 21. So far 3 pips that I can see (small window...why oh why did I make the window so small?!) and I can hear some faint peeping...now, where is my camera?

Here are some picture of the pips...I tried to put them in front of the candling ones so you can just go right to them...I'll keep updating this link with newest pictures first. When I took this there were 3 pips, now there are 5 that I can see although some eggs are not where I can see them, so they could be sneakily pipping right now. Go chickies go!
