Setting tomorrow tonight (I think)

Our eggs should get here either tommorow or Sat, or at the latest Monday, so I guess we'll be jumping on this thing very late? |D

We're only getting 4 + extras Silver Sebrights. I hope they do ok, the person I got them from kindly arranged for the post office to do call to pick up so they won't be stuck in a hot delivery truck. Fingers crossed they get here tomorrow! (The office is closed on Sat, although I made arrangements to call that morning and have the option of having them deliver it anyway- they've been very helpful)

Good luck everybody!

If they hatch (again, crossing fingers) I promise I will post pics all over the place, lol. I also plan on live streaming days 18-21 on my laptop

Also, yay! I just secured 6 more eggs, which brings me to almost a dozen depending on how many I get from the ebayer. Gonna pick up some Black Copper Maran eggs from a guy here in town. If I don't have any luck with the shipped Sebrights hopefully these guys will do well.

I'm picking up the BCMs on a Sat, same day that the Sebrights are scheduled to arrive. Is it ok to stick bantam chicks/eggs with regs?

Thank you! I got them on a whim, I knew I wanted to try to hatch bantys and they were so pretty! Good luck to you as well!

I bought a pair of Black Rosecomb Bantams this spring at a swap meet, and their eggs have been wonderful to hatch. They're such spunky little birds and so pretty! If you can find some of those, I think you'd like them. I got some Silkie-X-Ameraucana last year and their chicks this year have done well.

My Sebrights have just begun to lay, though I don't know if the one laying is a Silver or a Golden (since I have only one Sebright roo and all four of them are currently sharing quarters). I'm also looking forward to being able to incubate their eggs! Gotta love these bantam breeds.

Can't wait, picking up my chicken eggs this weekend. I want incubate already. lol. I am excited to try my first time incubating eggs, with my first homemade incubator.

I almost want to go find duck eggs so duckgirl89 won't be alone on here with ducks. Lol
